Flat feet problems: a chain reaction

A balanced foot is naturally designed to redistribute the forces from the body above when walking and standing. In turn, the rest of the body is designed to work around a balanced foot. When this balance is broken at the feet, the balance throughout the entire body is also broken, eventually causing a long sequence of complications.

A good example can be found in the tires of your car. When their alignment is off, the tires will wear unevenly and will cause other parts of the car to also wear out in the long run. Another analogy can be found in a building with a faulty foundation. When the stability of the building is compromised at ground level, all the levels above will also suffer. They will show signs of tilted floors, cracked walls and windows, and so on. The exact same principles apply to our bodies. When the feet are unbalanced, the knees, hip, back, neck, and even shoulders are also unbalanced.

It starts with the feet

The effects of hyperpronation extend beyond the feet and affect the entire body. Learn how both the problem and the solution are found in the same place.

Common misconceptions

Patients sometimes realize that they have unbalanced feet, but since they are not suffering from any symptoms as a consequence, they will choose to leave the condition untreated. Unfortunately, this is the worst approach possible. Whenever symptoms like hip pain, knee pain and back pain start showing, it means that the ill effects have already caused considerable damage at these locations, with every step taken. At that point, the patient will have the new problem to take care of, on top of still needing to correct the source.

What's worse, in many cases when the symptoms finally begin to appear, they will tend to get treated as separate conditions, typically requiring complex and invasive treatments. Again, in these cases the imbalance coming from the feet has already taken a huge toll that could have been prevented.

Resolving hyperpronation as early as possible is crucial, and with HyProCure, it's now a straightforward and viable option. Waiting will only cause more and more symptoms to take over, producing unnecessary suffering to the patient.
